According to the reports, more than 40 people were allegedly killed in an attack that occurred on St Francis Catholic Church, Owa-luwa Street, in Owo town, Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State. It has been reported that the incident took place on 05 June 2022 in the church, which is less than 200 miles away from the Palace of Olowo of Owo. It was confirmed by the workers at the Federal Medical Centre that several people were brought dead on Sunday after the attack.
