Alex Ndawula was a renowned radio host. He was known for gracing the broadcasts on private FM stations in Uganda. However, he started his career with Sanyu FM before shifting to Capital FM, after liberalization in the early 1990s. He got retired in May 2017 following his tenure at Capital FM for more than 20 years. At the time of his retirement, Capital FM organized a big farewell party for him and gave him a fancy car as a reward for his contribution to the FM for over 20 years. He also received cash.
The farewell party was held at the station garden where he was invited for his farewell and was given a Toyota Prado, along with a $30 million cash prize for years at the station.
