Who Was John Jackson?

John Keith Jackson was an English footballer who played as a goalie for Crystal Palace, Ipswich Town, Leyton Orient,  Millwall, and Hereford United during his 656 Football League matches. He had taken the participation in matches for the North American Soccer League teams St. Louis Star and California Surf.

If we came to his personal profile, Jackson’s birthplace is Hammersmith. He signed with Crystal Palace as a junior in March 1962 after receiving a graduation degree from St. Clement Danes School. He was a junior and he played for Brentford as well as a junior. He served as Bill Glazier’s initial understudy but when  Glazier left in 1964, he and Tony Millington successfully participated in the competition for the goalkeeping post.
